Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless coordination of production activities, optimizing supply chain processes, and maintaining efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of ERP systems, demand planning, and lean manufacturing principles to support our production goals and improve operational efficiency. Duties - Coordinate production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to meet demand planning requirements. - Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely execution of production plans aligned with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply chain activities to prevent shortages or overstock situations. - Assist in implementing lean manufacturing practices to improve workflow efficiency and reduce waste. - Support demand planning efforts by analyzing production data and forecasting future needs. - Track production KPIs and generate reports to identify areas for process improvement. - Liaise between procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain. - Maintain accurate documentation related to production schedules, inventory levels, and process changes. Requirements - Proven experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. - Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing principles and supply chain management. - Knowledge of MRP systems and demand planning techniques. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. - Effective communication skills for coordinating across departments and teams. - Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory. - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is advantageous. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our production operations while developing expertise in advanced manufacturing systems and supply chain strategies.
