Defend Northumberland County's digital infrastructure as a Cybersecurity Analyst. This permanent role focuses on identifying and addressing cybersecurity threats effectively. Reporting to the Manager of Cybersecurity, you will be key in assessing risks and implementing security measures across various systems. Your technical expertise in cybersecurity protocols will guide the mitigation of threats while ensuring compliance with service level agreements. A proven record in administering cybersecurity programs is required for success. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and mitigate cybersecurity threats across the network • Lead investigations and coordinate incident response efforts • Prepare vulnerability assessments and conduct security audits • Oversee cybersecurity awareness training for staff • Engage with vendors and agencies to strengthen security Requirements: • Post-secondary degree or 3 years relevant cybersecurity experience • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks • Experience in managing SIEM, IDPS, and security infrastructures • Understanding of complex IT systems including Active Directory • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities Make a meaningful impact on the cybersecurity frontlines by ensuring the safety of Northumberland County's digital assets.
