Construction Surveyor (Port Hope)

Overview Iron Horse Earthworks Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor / GPS Technician for an upcoming industrial civil and earthworks project in Port Hope, Ontario. The successful candidate will support field layout, grade checking, machine control systems, as-builts, and survey data management for civil and earthworks operations. Responsibilities: - Perform construction layout and grade verification - Operate GPS and survey equipment including Trimble systems - Assist with machine control setup and troubleshooting - Record as-built information and maintain survey records - Coordinate with operators, foremen, and project management - Verify elevations, alignments, and project tolerances - Upload and manage design files and field data Qualifications: - Experience in construction surveying or GPS machine control - Must be highly proficient with Trimble GPS equipment and Trimble machine control systems - Strong understanding of civil layout procedures, grades, elevations, and as-builts - Civil construction experience preferred - Ability to read and interpret drawings and site plans - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Experience with grading, utilities, and earthworks projects considered an asset What We Offer: - Competitive wages - Overtime opportunities - Work on a major industrial civil project - Opportunity for advancement - Strong team workplace Please send resumes to: Subject Line: Surveyor / GPS Technician Application – Port Hope Pay: $30.00-$65.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oslji
