Strategic Volunteer Board Director Needed, West Northumberland County (Millbrook)

Join Community Living– Fort Erie as a strategic volunteer Board Director, dedicating approximately three hours per month to influence community support and governance efforts. Engage directly in making a difference in the Niagara Region.

As a key member of the Board, you'll collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to shape initiatives that enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual challenges. This role emphasizes strategic planning, financial oversight, and community engagement, making it ideal for those passionate about non-profit work and governance. Your insights will play a crucial role in guiding CLFE’s growth and mission.

Key Responsibilities:• Attend evening Board meetings once a month • Assist with strategic planning processes • Review financial reports and ensure organizational health • Actively support and promote CLFE's mission • Represent CLFE within the Niagara community

Requirements:• Skills in advocacy and community engagement • Human resources or policy experience preferred • Non-profit or social service background • Experience in finance, legal, or business valued • Lived experience with disability is welcomed
