Purchaser with ERP Experience, West Northumberland County (Millbrook)

This role requires versatile skills in procurement and vendor relations where you will be responsible for placing orders and analyzing market trends. With over five years of experience in a related environment, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and cost-effective materials procurement while maintaining strong vendor liaisons.

Key Responsibilities:• Place and amend purchase orders as required • Prepare vendor RFQs for materials and products • Identify and negotiate with suitable vendors • Expedite deliveries to meet production targets • Collect and prepare information for procurement reports

Requirements:• 5+ years purchasing experience in a similar environment • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management • Education equivalent to 4 years high school • WHMIS and Health&Safety training• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
