Contribute to French language learning at Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board as a Core French teacher. This Temporary Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position is set at Lydia Trull Public School until June 26, 2026.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching French as a Second Language and will play a key role in nurturing students' language skills. The schedule follows school bell times from 9:05 am to 3:25 pm, providing ample opportunity to inspire and engage learners daily. KPRDSB is dedicated to creating an equitable learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:• Teach Core French curriculum to students • Assess, evaluate, and report on student learning • Create an inclusive and welcoming classroom atmosphere • Collaborate with other faculty on integrated learning approaches • Administer all required lesson planning and record-keeping tasks
Requirements:• Active membership with the Ontario College of Teachers • Valid police record check completed within the last 6 months • Experience teaching French as a Second Language • Excellent interpersonal skills and student engagement techniques • Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs
