Insurance Inspector Level 2 at HTM Insurance, Cobourg

HTM Insurance is looking for a Level 2 Insurance Inspector to conduct inspections across Ontario. Bring your expertise in assessing property risks and enhancing safety standards.

This full-time role sees you as an experienced inspector within the Loss Prevention team. You will carry out inspections on various properties, including residential, farm, and commercial. Your analytical skills will help in documenting findings and developing recommendations to minimize exposure to claims. Relationship management with brokers and policyholders is key, fostering connections at industry events.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform comprehensive inspections of residential and commercial properties • Identify safety concerns and recommend corrective actions • Document inspection results with photographs and reports • Build strong relationships with policyholders and brokers • Prepare detailed reports andcommunicate findings to teams

Requirements:• 5+ years of experience in property insurance inspection • College diploma in a relevant field • Strong knowledge of fire prevention and electrical systems • WETT Certification and valid driver’s license • Effective communication and organizational skills
