Essential Tasks Prepare and report weekly and monthly cost results; weekly KPI and monthly forecasts; annual operating and strategic plan. Ensure daily, weekly and monthly sales, cost and variance reports to support KPI are completed. Responsible for internal controls at the plant for operations, sales, and finance. Analyze and accurately report current month’s financial results to the plant, and corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements. Submit all financial transactions, transmissions, and reporting on a timely and accurate basis. Full cycle accounting in a multi‑company, multi‑currency environment. Manage month‑end balance sheet reconciliations and prepare necessary adjustments. Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain book‑to‑physical adjustments. Perform audits of bills of materials to ensure product costs are accurate. Ensure timely and accurate input of bill of material and price code changes. Ensure bill of material and costing accurately reflect production operations. Calculate and track price changes and communicate price changes to customer service. Calculate and set standard rates. Maintain a perpetual inventory and reconcile this perpetual to production, shipping, and returns. Attend daily plant production meetings. Perform walkthroughs of the plant with the Plant Manager, as needed, to discuss production and costing issues. Review labor reporting and cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels. Conduct formal meetings with manufacturing, finance and sales management personnel, both at the plant or Corporate, to discuss plant issues, as needed. Analyze potential excess and obsolete inventory items. Reconcile inter‑company accounts monthly. Analyze internal controls to ensure assets are adequately safeguarded and results are accurately reported. Active leader and participant in cost improvement projects including tracking of target savings. Participate and support quarterly internal/external audit requirements. Year‑end support and analysis. Train and develop a team of three. Work Workplace This job operates in a professional manufacturing office and shop floor setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
