Receptionist (Invermere)

Job Summary As a first point of contact in the Shuswap Band Admin Office, the Receptionist will provide front-line reception and administrative support for the Shuswap Band community members and staff. Responsibilities: · Provide a welcoming presence for visitors to the Band Office and assist them as required · Unlock and lock the Shuswap Band offices at the start and end of each workday, ensuring lights and equipment are turned on and off · Answer telephone calls and emails, directing to the appropriate staff member or providing routine information as required · Keep the boardroom, front desk, and front seating area organized and clean throughout the day · Assist with boardroom set-up and booking · Help with cheque and swim pass sign-out · Ensure the bulletin board is kept tidy and up to date · Handle mail and deliveries · Maintain staff sign in/sign out sheet and board; always has knowledge of who is left in the building · Coordinate meetings and appointments; preparing agendas and meeting minutes · Assist with financial tasks, entering invoices and expense reports · Provide general administrative support · Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications: · Strong interpersonal and communications skills · Familiar with office equipment · Well organized, professional, and reliable · Understands and respects HR policies with a focus on code of conduct, conflict of interest, and confidentiality processes and procedures Job Type: Casual Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Company events - In office parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2na7ci
