Veterinary Medical Receptionist (VMR) / Client Care Specialist Opportunity for Social Media & Community Engagement Pioneer Veterinary Services – Sundre, AB Pioneer Veterinary Services is a privately owned mixed animal veterinary practice with locations in Olds and Sundre, Alberta. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-minded Veterinary Medical Receptionist (VMR) to join our team primarily in Sundre. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic and ever-changing environment, communicates empathetically under pressure, and values meaningful relationships with clients, coworkers, producers, and the community we serve. For candidates with interest and experience in marketing or content creation, there is opportunity to expand into social media and community engagement within the practice. Qualifications - Minimum 1 year of veterinary or medical customer service experience preferred. - Veterinary reception experience considered an asset. - Experience with Cornerstone veterinary software considered an asset. - Agricultural or cattle industry experience considered an asset. - Valid driver’s license preferred. Responsibilities - Client communication in person and over the phone. - Effective appointment scheduling and front-end workflow management. - Accurate invoicing, payment processing, and medical record maintenance. - Coordination with veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff. - Supporting a positive and professional client experience. - Optional involvement in clinic social media, marketing, and community engagement initiatives.
