Maintenance Technician (Invermere)

At Copper Point Resort and the Invermere Inn & Suites, part of the INNhotels family, we’re looking for a Maintenance Technician who brings initiative, attention to detail, and a guest-first attitude to every task. As a key player in our Maintenance Department, you’ll be responsible for keeping our resort in top shape, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and team. What You’ll Do: - Maintain guest rooms, facilities, furnishings, and fixtures in excellent condition - Respond promptly to guest and team maintenance requests - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in guest rooms - Perform light plumbing work including repairs to sinks, toilets, and tubs - Assist in renovation and upgrade projects across the resort - Maintain kitchen, laundry, pool, spa, and fitness equipment - Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment and systems - Keep public areas and exterior grounds in clean, working condition - Communicate effectively with housekeeping, front desk, and F&B; teams - Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently - Support the Maintenance Manager and Executive Team with additional duties as needed Who You Are: - A "jack-of-all-trades" with a passion for hospitality and hands-on work - Solution-focused with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities - Adaptable with a working knowledge of AV and computer systems - Physically fit and able to lift 50–75 lbs - Positive, reliable, and team-oriented Qualifications: Experience: - Previous maintenance or general repair experience preferred - Painting, tool use, or machinery experience is an asset Certifications: - WHMIS certification (asset) - Valid driver's license (asset) Why Join Us: - A supportive team environment and opportunities for growth - Competitive compensation and benefits package - Group health plan - Seasonal staff events and local activity discounts - Hotel discounts across all INNhotels properties - Live and work in the heart of the stunning Columbia Valley Who We Are: Copper Point Resort is part of INNhotels, a family-owned group of independent hotels across Western Canada, including properties in Canmore, Jasper, Grande Cache, Valemount, and more.
