Mechanical Planner - Maintenance (Sundre)

In this role you will apply your strong maintenance planning skills to develop plans for inspections and carry out predictive and preventive maintenance for assigned assets.Utilize Reliability Centered Maintenance approach to develop inspection, predictive and preventive maintenance programs for assigned assetsDiscover & communicate Maintenance opportunitiesPrepare, monitor and evaluate the results from equipment inspections.Establish equipment criticality and technical statusDefine and optimize spare part levels for assigned assetsDevelop plans and coordinate maintenance activities for changeovers, maintenance downturns, major plant shutdowns and maintenance related capital expenditure projects and upgradesManage effectively external resources assigned to specific maintenance activitiesMaintain and upgrade facility infrastructure & utilities on a regular BasisPrioritize documentation and ensure complianceMonitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators and Metrics for assigned assetsManage and maintain documentationWork closely with manufacturing / machine shops and communicate required information effectively to get parts / equipment repaired to standardRequirementsBachelors Degree in Engineering or Journeyman Millwright preferred3 to 5 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong history of utilizing CMMS systemsPossess project planning skillsWorking knowledge of equipment technologies, limitations, and their effect on safety, quality, productivity and costProficient in Microsoft Office tools such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to work effectively with hourly and management ranksThe means to work with interdepartmental teams at all levels of managementAbility to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematicsOur total compensation package includes amazing benefits!Competitive wages and bonus opportunitiesFamily medical, dental, and prescription coverage at minimal employee costShort and long-term disability programsCompetitive retirement plansEmployer-provided and Voluntary Life Insurance optionsPaid vacation and recognized statutory holidaysApprenticeship and career advancement within the companyTuition reimbursementWhile we thank all those who apply, only those being actively considered for employment will be contacted.Equal Prospect EmployerOrion Steel Group, L.L.C. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
