SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR The Rose & Crown + The Fat Ox | Banff, Alberta Creative Restaurants Group is looking for a highly creative, energetic, and social media-driven Content Creator to join our Banff team supporting The Rose & Crown and The Fat Ox. This is not a corporate desk-content role. We are looking for someone who understands: - energy - nightlife - atmosphere - hospitality - food culture - music - mountain lifestyle - how to capture moments that actually make people want to go somewhere The Rose & Crown is evolving into one of Banff’s most exciting mountain pub experiences focused around: - great food - rooftop energy - live music - DJs - cocktails - nightlife - sports - high-energy hospitality The Fat Ox continues building its identity around elevated mountain Italian dining, cocktails, wine and atmosphere. We are looking for someone who can help visually tell those stories in a way that feels: - authentic - exciting - social-first - and culturally connected to Banff ROLE OVERVIEW This role is focused on capturing and creating consistent content across both venues with a strong focus on: - Instagram - TikTok - Reels - nightlife content - food photography/video - event coverage - patio season - live music - cocktails - guest atmosphere - hospitality storytelling The ideal candidate understands how to create content that feels natural, energetic and engaging; not overly staged or corporate. RESPONSIBILITIES - Capture and edit short-form social media content - Create Instagram Reels and TikTok videos - Photograph food, cocktails, events, nightlife and atmosphere - Support event promotion and social engagement - Attend live music nights, DJ events, patio activations, and feature nights - Work alongside operations and marketing teams to align content with campaigns - Assist with content planning and creative brainstorming - Help build social momentum around both brands throughout the summer season - Capture content that drives excitement, shares, engagement, and guest traffic WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and up-to-date social trends - Comfortable capturing nightlife and fast-paced hospitality environments - Strong editing skills for mobile-first content - Creative eye for food, drinks, lighting, and atmosphere - Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and event nights - Energetic personality with robust communication skills - Hospitality, nightlife, or tourism experience is considered a robust asset - Understanding of Banff culture and tourism energy is a major asset THE IDEAL PERSON The right person for this role: - understands what makes people stop scrolling - knows how to capture energy in a room - understands social trends - and genuinely enjoys hospitality, nightlife, food and events This role is perfect for someone who: - loves social media - enjoys content creation - thrives in high-energy environments - and wants to help build exciting hospitality brands in Banff POSITION DETAILS - Part-time - Approximately 16 hours per week - Split between The Rose & Crown and The Fat Ox - Evening and weekend availability required - Must live in the Bow Valley Area If interested, please send: - resume - social media portfolio or examples of content - Instagram/TikTok handles - and a short introduction about yourself Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour Perks: - Casual dress - Discounted or free food - Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p6i29
