Bartender/Server (Invermere)

We are looking for bartender and server to run the bar and taco stand creating a fun, vibrant, atmosphere for not just our customers but the people that work there. Newly renovated 2 bed staff accom available so grab a friend and have the best summer on the lake serving up amazing tacos and margaritas. No experience- everyone has to start somewhere so let’s talk! Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner. - Use POS systems like Micros POS for order entry and payment processing. - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. - Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously. - Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. - Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. - Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours. - Serve food items when required, following proper food handling procedures. Qualifications - Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable. - Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms. - Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. - Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. - Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately. - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. - Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. - Prior experience in serving or hospitality roles is preferred but not mandatory. This position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality skills are valued, and teamwork is essential for success.
