Specific Accountabilities Positively engageour guests Servebeverages Settables, stockbusstations and any pre-banquet set-up required Cleartables, teardown banquet stations, tidyup spaces Takepayment where applicable Qualification and Educational Requirements Previous hospitality experience as a food-service attendant or in a related customer-service focused area Completion of Alberta Pro Servecertification Able to work under minimal supervision while providing excellent customer service Enjoys interacting with a diverse group of people (artists, leadership participants, conference delegates, etc.) Budgets and organizestheir time proactively to provide consistent and enjoyable service Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds Special Requirements Due to the nature of the job, this position requires the candidate to be available to work a flexible, irregular schedule and weekends Due to liquor license requirements, only candidates 18 years and older can be considered for this position Employment Terms & Benefits In accordance with CUPE 4318, this is a unionized, hourly support staff position, subject to a 500-hour probationary period. This position pays $15.84 per hour working up to 37.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule.
