Job Summary
Banff Gate Mountain Resort in Dead Man's Flats is looking for an entry level Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. Responsibilities
Maintenance checks of chalets and preventative maintenance repairs. Upkeep of 46 A‑frame chalets. Landscaping, grounds keeping, watering flowers and lawn care in the summer. Snow&ice removal in the winter. Pool&hot tubs maintenance and testing (CPO certificate would be an advantage). Numerous special projects (painting, plumbing, carpentering, electrical, etc.). Qualifications
Previous hotel maintenance experience or trading background is an asset. Pool operator certification (CPO certificate) would be an advantage. Must have a valid work permit. Ideal candidates will have their own transportation as there are no buses or shuttles to/from our resort. Benefits
FREE STAFF ACCOMMODATION based on availability. Compensation&Schedule
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour. Overtime pay available. Job Type: Full time, Permanent. Schedule: 8 hour shift. Work Location: In person. Ability to commute/relocate: Canmore, AB– reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
