Building Safety Codes Officer in Canmore

As a Building Safety Codes Officer, you will report to the Supervisor of Planning&Development and directly impact community safety. Key Responsibilities:• Administer Safety Codes services per Alberta regulations • Review and issue Building Permit applications • Conduct thorough inspections on various building types • Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on codes • Investigate non-compliance incidents and act accordingly

Requirements:• Journeyman certification or relevant diploma/degree • Registered Safety Codes Officer in Alberta • At least three years of building inspection experience • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and regulations • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
