Contract Senior Engineer in Guidewire, Banff

Drive innovation in Guidewire ClaimCenter as a Senior Engineer on a contract basis. This role, requiring onsite presence twice a week, seeks your expertise in software development and solution architecture.

As a Senior Engineer, you will take charge of designing and developing complex features while collaborating with analysts and stakeholders for effective solutions. Your ownership of the software development lifecycle will enhance delivery quality through peer reviews and code coaching. Your contributions in integration and quality assurance will ensure robust software performance for enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead design and development of software features • Collaborate on technical designs with stakeholders • Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers • Develop automated tests to enhance quality assurance

Requirements:• Minimum 5 years in Guidewire ClaimCenter development • Experience with Guidewire Cloud preferred • Strong skills in GOSU, web services, and databases • Background in the insurance industry is advantageous • Post-secondary degree in Software Development
