We offer 14% in lieu of perks (or HOOPP + 12%) As the successful applicant, you will do the following: Assesses patients referred for inpatient occupational therapy services. Developsan appropriatetreatment program based on the patients ability andlimitations;settingshort- and long-termgoals. This includes referral to other servicesrequiredto meet these goals. Implements the treatment plan through provision ofappropriate occupationaltherapy (and delegation ofappropriate supervisedacts). Educates and informs the patient and family before, during and at the termination of treatment to help the patient understand their condition and maximize their functional return. Reassessespatientprogress andgoalsto ensureappropriate progressionof treatment. Support the development and implementation of best practice modelsforoccupational therapy. Provides input to the patients physician and other members of the health care team through direct personal discussion, inter-disciplinary conferences, and maintenance of adequate records and regular notes on the patients chart. Records include assessment, evaluation of progress, and discharge summary.
