Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to surfaces and structures, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools are essential for success. Duties - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed - Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision - Use hand tools and power tools to perform minor repairs or surface preparations - Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, and other manufacturing processes - Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper storage of tools and materials - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts safely and effectively - Ability to perform surface preparation tasks such as sanding and masking accurately - Solid attention to detail to ensure high-quality finish work - Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions - Prior experience in painting environments is preferred but not required Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits - Casual dress - Flexible schedule Work Location: On the road Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2yt8
