Line Cook/Prep Cook (Collingwood)

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties - Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards - Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation - Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients - Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and work stations - Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or servers as needed - Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously - Adhere to health regulations and ensure compliance with sanitation standards Experience - Experience required - Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices is a plus - Experience in meal preparation, food handling, and serving in a rapid-paced setting is advantageous - Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance is desirable - Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards This position is integral to delivering exceptional dining experiences through skilled food preparation and teamwork.
