Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented summer student to join our dynamic digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will craft engaging, SEO-optimized content tailored for e-commerce platforms and various digital channels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop compelling narratives, enhance brand visibility, and contribute to innovative marketing campaigns. A solid understanding of digital marketing tools and graphic design software is preferred to create visually appealing content that resonates with target audiences. Duties - Write clear, concise, and engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, product descriptions, and marketing materials. - Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search engines (SEO) and improve organic traffic. - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies aligned with brand goals. - Proofread and edit all content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice. - Develop and execute a daily social media content strategy for the South Grey Chamber of Commerce to engage local businesses and the community. - Utilize AI-driven tools (Canva, Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT) to generate high-quality visual assets, draft engaging copy, and optimize posting schedules. - Manage and update the Chamber’s website via SquareSpace to ensure current and accurate information for members and tourists. - Collaborate with the Events Coordinator to design digital promotional materials for Chamber events. - Monitor online engagement and compile a weekly data analytics report to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies.
