MacLean Engineering seeks an Advanced Electrical Engineering Designer to drive innovative designs for underground mining systems. This position is tailored for individuals eager to take on challenging projects.

As part of our dynamic Product Engineering Team, you will be responsible for leading electrical design initiatives, mentoring less experienced designers, and ensuring robust compliance with industry standards. Bring your understanding of manufacturing processes and technical oversight to enhance the quality of our equipment. Your ability to use SolidWorks and AutoCAD will be crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee design and compliance for DC, AC, and PLC systems • Mentor junior designers to improve team capabilities • Lead projects from design to production, ensuring accuracy • Identify integration challenges and propose solutions • Work closely with other departments to facilitate project success

Requirements:• recognized Engineering Diploma or Degree • At least 5 years in heavy equipment design/manufacturing • Expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD necessary • Excellent communication skills; multilingual preferred • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in approach
