FULL TIME HOURS ~ Must be able to work, days, afternoons and overnight shifts The Assistant Manager, Slope Maintenance, will report directly to the Manager, Slope Maintenance and will oversee a team of Groomers, Snowmakers, Welders, and Heavy Equipment Operators. This position is responsible for helping to create a community of employees united by purpose and fun, deliver a mountain experience to guests that inspires stories, and who achieve departmental objectives and key results. They will plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of teams engaged in grooming, snowmaking, and summer construction projects. working alongside team members to ensure the team is supported Manage performance and motivate by setting clear expectations, measuring productivity, coaching, addressing concerns, and recognizing achievements. Planning and providing standardized on-boarding and training Coordinating and overseeing daily shift work and team communications Coordinating maintenance and timely reporting of equipment issues to maximize up time.
