Senior Contracts Manager - Work Location: Project Office Lavender area - Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, alt sat full day - Salary: $8000 to $10000 (depends on experience) Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and develop the contracts team to achieve departmental and project goals. - Allocate resources effectively and ensure high performance across contract administration and tendering functions. - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions. - Draft, review, and manage contractual correspondence and agreements, and maintain accurate records and document registers. - Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual issues. - Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards. - Identify and mitigate contractual risks while safeguarding the firm’s interests. - Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes. - Direct the preparation, review, and submission of tenders for new projects. - Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to identify risks and opportunities. - Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and technical teams to develop competitive bids. - Support strategic business growth by securing profitable projects. - Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and financial performance related to contracts. - Provide commercial advice to senior management and project teams. - Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and contract close-out. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers; represent the firm in negotiations and industry forums. - Act as the primary point of contact for contractual matters. - Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by superiors. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management within the construction industry. - Proven track record in leading contract teams and managing tenders for large-scale projects. - Robust knowledge of construction law, procurement practices, and industry standards. - Proficiency in contract management software and the MS Office Suite.
