Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Boutique Inn Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Prior experience in hotel or custodial services is preferred, but a robust work ethic and a passion for hospitality are essential. The position involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across guest rooms and common areas, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest needs are met Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically, including carpet cleaning and upholstery care Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management Follow established safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment Assist with general custodial duties in public areas of the inn as needed Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred, including hotel or industrial cleaning experience Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled timeframes Excellent organizational skills and reliability Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus Prior hospitality or custodial experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate This role offers an engaging prospect to be part of a welcoming team dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences through meticulous cleanliness and hospitality.
