Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our agile team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and will be responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, Gustav uses Digital dining. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all orders are correct and meet quality standards. Provide knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the dining experience, including upselling menu items. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests. Uphold excellent guest services by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Skills Proven experience in the food service industry, with restaurant experience preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy workplace. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Digital dining, is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members alike.
