We are seeking an autonomous Psychologist/Psychological Associate, Registered Psychotherapist, or Registered Social Worker who is passionate about providing thoughtful, evidence‑based care and excited by opportunities for mentorship, continuing education, and meaningful team connection. About Us Core Connections Psychology Centre is a psychologist‑led practice providing psychotherapy and assessment services in Collingwood and Newmarket, as well as virtually across Ontario. Our work is grounded in a systemic, relational, and attachment‑based lens. While Emotion‑Focused Therapy (EFT) is central to our practice philosophy, we value integrative clinicians who draw from a range of evidence‑based approaches to support diverse client needs. We are especially interested in clinicians who: - Are interested in learning and deepening their EFT practice - Have training in modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, Narrative Therapy, or Gottman Method - Feel comfortable supporting more complex clinical presentations, including emotional dysregulation and neurodiversity. - Clinicians who are experienced and autonomous - Works with one or more populations: adolescents, couples, families. What We Offer - Competitive compensation with opportunities for growth - Strong referral streams to help build your caseload - Flexible hybrid work model (virtual and in‑person) - Administrative support and streamlined systems - A thoughtfully designed, light‑filled office space with onsite parking - A connected and supportive team culture Compensation Compensation ranges from approximately $105–$165 per completed clinical hour, depending on registration status, experience, and service type. Position Type Clinicians are required to offer: - A minimum of three 5‑hour shifts per week - At least one evening (3–8pm) or weekend (Saturday or Sunday 10–3pm) shift - In‑person availability at our Collingwood office at least one day per week Both virtual and in‑person work are available. What You’ll Do - Offer brief complimentary consultation calls to prospective clients - Conduct intake assessments and provide evidence‑based psychotherapy - Work with couples and, depending on your areas of competence, individuals, adolescents, and/or families - Integrate modalities such as EFT, CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Method, and other evidence‑based approaches - Participate in weekly consultation and education seminars - Collaborate as part of a supportive clinical team What You’ll Need - Master’s degree or PhD/PsyD (or equivalent) in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work - Registration in good standing with the CPBAO, CRPO, or OCSWSSW - Professional liability insurance - Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience - Experience working with couples is highly desirable - Additional experience with adolescents, families, neurodivergence, trauma, suicidality, or emotional dysregulation considered a strong asset - Comfort using Jane App, Google Workspace, and virtual care platforms - A warm, reflective, relational, and client‑centered therapeutic style Equity & Inclusion Core Connections Psychology Centre is committed to fostering an inclusive, affirming, and respectful setting for both clinicians and clients.
