Cook/Chef/Kitchen Manager (Clarksburg)

If you’ve got a yearning to be the head cook or chef at a thriving local winery! We are looking for the right person to head up the Georgian Hills Vineyards kitchen, where we are committed to elevating our customer food and wine experience. Georgian Hills Vineyards is a dynamic agri tourism destination and small craft producer of wines and ciders grown locally in the Beaver Valley, Blue Mountains. The position is a minimum of five days a week, expect to work Saturdays and Sundays as well as long weekends in the peak summer season. Hours will range from 30 to 50 hours but mostly 10am - 5pm with some evenings for after-hours events. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, with experience in managing a kitchen, developing an enticing menu of casual fare, soups, charcuterie, seasonal appetizers, flatbreads and much more with the sole intention to enhance guests' wine and food pairing experiences. Knowledge and certification of food safety and sanitation is a must. Must have good people skills, is a team player, willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with a passion for customer service. You will need transportation to get to our winery property located 5km south of Thornbury. For the right person, there is an opportunity to lead our culinary adventure and take us to another level as we aspire to grow our winery destination in several areas. This is ideally a full-time position beginning immediately April 2026. However it could also be seasonal summer six months. For the right candidate, we can be flexible with hours, allow for outside contract work when requested..
