Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and systems-driven Retail Systems & POS Coordinator to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our Shopify POS and backend infrastructure across multiple retail locations. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless integration between in-store sales, inventory, and e-commerce operations, while also supporting physical product flow within the stores. This role also requires working in the warehouse approximately 50% of the time. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining inventory, receiving and processing incoming orders, managing stock levels, and serving as backup support for online order fulfillment as needed. The ideal candidate thrives on organization, accuracy, and efficiency, and is comfortable working both in systems and hands-on with product. Key Responsibilities Shopify POS Management Oversee daily operation of Shopify POS systems across all store locations Backend Systems & Inventory Control - Maintain accurate product listings, SKUs, pricing, and collections in Shopify - Oversee inventory levels across all locations, including transfers and adjustments - Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy between physical and digital inventory - Coordinate with buying team to ensure timely product setup and availability Product Receiving & Pricing - Receive incoming inventory and verify shipments against purchase orders - Accurately input new products into Shopify, including descriptions, pricing, and tags - Price and label merchandise in accordance with company standards - Ensure products are properly prepared and allocated to the correct store locations - Maintain organization and accuracy during intake processes Process Optimization - Develop and document standard operating procedures for POS and backend workflows - Identify inefficiencies and implement system improvements - Ensure consistency across all store locations Qualifications - 2+ years experience working with backend systems (Shopify preferred) - Strong understanding of retail operations and inventory management - Experience with product intake, merchandising, or stock handling - Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Comfortable with data analysis and reporting tools - Strong skills in speadsheets - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities - Excellent communication and training skills Preferred Qualifications - Experience managing systems - Familiarity with Shopify apps and integrations - Background in retail operations, merchandising, or e-commerce Key Attributes - Systems thinker with a proactive mindset - Reliable and process-driven - Comfortable balancing digital systems work with physical retail tasks - Adaptable in a fast-paced retail workplace - Strong sense of ownership and accountability Success Metrics - Inventory accuracy across all locations - Efficient and error-free product intake and pricing - Improved efficiency in backend processes Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week Benefits: - Paid time off - Store discount Application question(s): - Do you live within a reasonable driving distance?
