In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work at heights. This role is vital in helping us deliver high-quality roofing services that meet our company's standards of excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities - Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and construction techniques. - Support the team in heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow. - Install and repair roofs - Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions. - Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them. - Inspect roofs for damage and identify areas that require repair or replacement. - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. - Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment. - Clean up work areas and ensure tools are properly maintained. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols. - Contribute to the overall quality of workmanship by following company standards. - Support carpentry tasks related to roofing as needed. Skills - Experience as a Roofer or in a related field such as carpentry or construction. - Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and tools. - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. - Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting. - Attention to detail and the ability to work at heights safely Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
