General Farm Worker- Swine (Saint Paul)

Ham Land Acres Ltd. is seeking two dedicated farm workers to join our team at 5114 Line 26 St. Pauls, Ontario, Canada. This role is vital in supporting our daily operations and maintaining the high standards of our farm. The Farm Worker will contribute to the care of our livestock and the upkeep of farm equipment. Job Duties - Daily care and handling of pigs at all stages of production - Feeding animals and ensuring feed and water systems are functioning properly - Monitoring animal health and reporting illness or injuries - Assisting with farrowing, weaning, and movement of animals - Cleaning and disinfecting barns, pens, and equipment - Following all animal care, biosecurity, and farm safety procedures - Operating small farm equipment and performing general indoor and outdoor maintenance duties - Maintaining accurate production and health records - Assisting with loading, unloading, and transportation of livestock when required - Ensuring barns are maintained in a clean, safe, and organized condition Job Requirements -Must be able to work full time hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision -Ability to work as part of a team -Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working in barn conditions - Applicants must have a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of hands-on swine farm experience.
