Part-time Server (Carbonear)

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work setting. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent hospitality and efficient service. Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience - Take accurate food and beverage orders - Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality standards - Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties - Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards - Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to food handling and safety protocols - Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods - Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Qualifications - Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred but not required - Familiarity with POS systems - Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor - Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations - Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and upselling menu items - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts - Ability to work effectively in a team environment within the hospitality industry - Flexibility to work weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team to provide outstanding guest experiences while developing your skills in the vibrant hospitality industry!
