Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards - Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients - Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed to maintain hygiene standards - Plate dishes attractively and efficiently for timely service - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours - Adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines at all times Requirements - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred - Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly - Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting - Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and evenings if required Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ob02l
