Part Time Server Carbonear

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work setting. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent hospitality and effective service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, adhering to food handling and safety protocols Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred but not required Familiarity with POS systems Robust customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and upselling menu items Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Ability to work effectively in a team environment within the hospitality industry Flexibility to work weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team to provide outstanding guest experiences while developing your skills in the vibrant hospitality industry!
