Lead CDL Driver Trainer for Fleet, Northeast Newfoundland (Lewisporte)

Join our team as a Lead CDL Driver Trainer and influence driver success in a field-based role. This position focuses on hands-on driver training, ensuring safety and compliance in the commercial trucking industry.

We need a Trainer with more than three years of commercial trucking experience to impart practical skills directly to drivers. Your efforts will focus on training drivers through real-world experiences, ensuring they are well-equipped to operate independently and safely. You will also provide essential evaluations and retain accurate training records to uphold compliance.

Key Responsibilities:• Deliver hands-on training on backing and maneuvering • Conduct orientation sessions for new drivers • Assess real-time performance and coach effectively • Ensure all drivers meet certification standards • Maintain documentation for training and compliance

Requirements:• Minimum 3 years’ experience in trucking or training • Essential hands-on training capabilities • Strong grasp of DOT regulations • Ability to demonstrate equipment function • Previous driving experience preferred
