Automotive Painter (Bay Roberts)

Overview We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team in delivering high-quality vehicle refinishing and painting services. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dealership or automotive repair environment and possess a strong understanding of painting techniques, safety standards, and vehicle repair processes. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced tools and contribute to restoring vehicles to their optimal appearance. Duties - Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces - Apply paint, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and hand tools with precision and attention to detail - Ensure consistent color matching and quality control throughout the painting process - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times - Perform minor repairs or touch-ups as needed to achieve a flawless finish - Assist with vehicle disassembly and reassembly during the painting process - Follow manufacturer specifications and industry standards for automotive refinishing Requirements - Proven dealership or automotive repair experience as an automotive painter or similar role - Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, spray guns, and other painting equipment - Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or materials safely - Experience with automotive repair processes is highly desirable - Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality work - Knowledge of safety procedures related to paint application and chemical handling - Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality This position is integral to our team’s success in providing exceptional vehicle restoration services.
