Description
Blades Landscaping is hiring a
Field Operations Lead
for a hands‑on leadership role in Northwest Arkansas.
This is not an entry‑level landscaping job. This is not a “we’ll teach you everything from scratch” role.
We are only hiring someone who already has
real, direct landscaping experience
and knows how to do the work at a high level.
That means you should understand things like:
How to mow different types of grass correctly
How to manage weeds and keep properties clean
How to trim, edge, and blow with professional quality
How to clean up and maintain landscape beds
How to identify property issues before the customer complains
How to operate and care for landscaping equipment
How to lead a crew through a full day of field work
How to leave a property looking sharp, clean, and professionally maintained
This role is for someone who has already worked in landscaping, understands what great work looks like, and can help lead others to that standard.
We are offering
$1,000/week base pay
plus performance‑based bonus opportunities tied to quality, profitability, new properties, and growth.
If you are dependable, experienced, hard‑working, and ready to grow into a larger leadership role, this could be a strong opportunity.
If you do not already know landscaping, this is not the right role. We need someone who can step into the field, understand the work, and help us raise the standard immediately.
What You Will Actually Be Doing Field Work You will perform and lead daily landscaping work, including:
Mowing
Trimming
Edging
Blowing
Cleanup
Mulching
Planting
Light installs
Seasonal property work
Equipment operation
Other landscape maintenance tasks as assigned
You are expected to set the pace and standard for the crew.
Team Leadership You will help lead the field team.
This includes:
Keeping the crew moving
Training team members
Correcting poor work quickly
Holding people accountable
Communicating clearly with management
Helping build a strong field culture
Showing others what good work looks like
This is a lead‑from‑the‑front role. You should be willing to do the hard work yourself and expect the same from the team.
Quality Control You will be responsible for making sure properties are completed correctly before the crew leaves.
You should be checking:
Clean mowing lines
Sharp edging
Proper trimming
Blown sidewalks, driveways, entrances, patios, and beds
Gates closed
Trash or debris removed
Equipment and materials cleaned up
Customer/property issues documented
Overall professional appearance
The standard is simple:
leave every property looking better than when we arrived.
Equipment, Trucks, and Trailers You will help protect the company’s equipment and tools.
This includes:
Keeping trailers organized and ready
Making sure equipment is loaded and secured properly
Reporting damage or maintenance issues quickly
Helping prevent lost tools and broken equipmentSupporting daily and weekly equipment checks
Taking ownership when something breaks instead of ignoring it
If the equipment fails, the day fails. This role requires someone who understands that.
Property and Account Support As Blades grows, you may be trusted with direct responsibility for specific properties.
This means helping make sure those properties are:
Completed consistently
Maintained profitably
Properly documented
Customer‑ready every visit
Supported as part of the company’s growth plan
The better you manage properties, the more opportunity you have to grow your income and responsibility.
Supporting Growth Blades is working to grow revenue and expand its property base.
You may help support growth by:
Identifying improvement opportunities on existing properties
Helping onboard new properties
Communicating customer needs
Supporting estimates or site reviews
Referring new opportunities
Helping protect customer relationships
You do not have to be a salesperson. But if you help bring in business, there is upside.
Schedule Expectations Busy Season: March–October This is the high‑output season.
Expect:
Long days

This is where the company earns, and this is where bonus opportunities are created.
Slow Season: November–February The slower season may include:
