Immigration Support - Rural Renewal Program endorsement available for qualified candidates with valid open work permits - Applicants must currently be legally authorized to work in Canada - Endorsement consideration will depend on eligibility, experience, and long-term employment commitment Availability Requirements - Must be available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays - Must be able to work shifts that may run until 2:00 AM - Flexible scheduling availability is considered an asset Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen throughout shifts - Complete nightly closing duties and cleaning tasks - Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner during busy periods - Properly stock, rotate, and store food products - Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control - Follow all food safety and health regulations - Assist with prep work and inventory organization as needed - Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff - Handle equipment safely and report maintenance issues when necessary Qualifications - Previous cooking or kitchen experience - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs What We’re Looking For - Positive attitude and strong work ethic - Someone who takes pride in cleanliness and consistency - Ability to work independently during late-night hours Job Types: Permanent, Part time, Full-time Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour Benefits: - Discounted or free food - On-site parking Experience: - Cooking: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okz9r
