Weekend Merchandiser (Clarenville)

THE COMPANY Browning Harvey Ltd. is a locally owned and operated bottler of Pepsi Cola Products in Newfoundland and Labrador, and is a recognized local market leader in the brand name Liquid Refreshment Beverage Category in this province. THE ROLE – WEEKEND MERCHANDISER - CLARENVILLE AREA Do you have access to your own vehicle and a valid driver’s license / acceptable drivers abstract? If so this role might be the right fit for you. Browning Harvey Ltd. currently has an opening for the position of a weekend Merchandiser based in the Clarenville, NL area. This position will be approximately 11 hours every other weekend. Additional hours will be possible during peak business times. This position requires the successful candidate to effectively merchandise and affect business growth on Browning Harvey Ltd. products in their designated area and maintain positive customer relations with all accounts. Duties include but are not limited to: - Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom/storage room to front-of-store - Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; - Repetitively lift, carry and position product; - Consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head; - Manage backroom by organizing stock (product) and organizing backroom materials (i.e., pallets, product shells etc.) THE CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have a background in customer service and have superior oral, written and communication skills, and enjoy working in a quick-paced, demanding environment. The candidate must be highly motivated, organized, possess strong problem solving skills, and have strong critical thinking and decision making skills. The candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license / acceptable drivers abstract, have access to their own vehicle and provide a Certificate of Conduct.
