General Labour Sample Prep Technician, Southeastern Avalon Peninsula (Ferryland)

Contribute to ALS Geochemistry's success as a General Labour Sample Preparation Technician. Engage with client samples to prepare them for analytical procedures in our labs, following established practices.

Working within the Sample Preparation Department, you'll apply your organizational and coordination skills to various tasks like ringing, crushing, and sieving. This role requires maintaining proper logs and performing essential lab cleanliness duties under oversight. It's vital to comply with all safety protocols in a high-demand environment.

Key Responsibilities:• Ring, sieve, and crush samples as instructed • Load and unload drying ovens, ensuring safety • Maintain daily production logs thoroughly • Complete general cleaning tasks within the lab • Follow strict safety guidelines during all operations

Requirements:• Excellent hand-eye coordination for task performance • Strong organizational skills for effective workflow • Basic English communication skills, both written and spoken • Ability to lift over 50lbs with assistance • Availability for shifts in a hot, dusty environment
