Regular Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manages maintenance employees with a focus on engagement, accountability, and skills development. Plans, coordinates and supervises work through work orders in the CMMS and the issuance of various work permits. Participates in work prioritization in collaboration with various plant stakeholders.Participates in failure analysis, continuous improvement of operations, and initiates problem‑solving with work teams. Ensures compliance with health and safety, environmental, and sanitation programs and oversees compliance with and implementation of the quality plan (ISO, HACCP, SQF). Take parts in performance meetings with the work team.Actively participates in various plant committees and the implementation of various projects. Approves and monitors hours worked, vacations, and schedules. Other duties as assigned by maintenance manager. Other Duties and Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, disciplinary action. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and guidelines. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.Safety Protocol

Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs.
