At Memphis Rise Academy, we are dedicated to hiring passionate teachers who can uplift and educate our middle school students. You will be responsible for conducting inclusive ELA lessons, grading assignments, and tracking assessments within a well-structured and values-driven classroom. Collaborating with the leadership team, you will ensure a student-centered approach to address learning challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:• Create and execute core ELA lessons for four class periods • Assess and enter student data for progress tracking • Maintain a classroom that reflects core school values • Collaborate with staff on student-centered strategies • Implement necessary modifications for diverse learners

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree with a valid Tennessee teaching license or EPP participation • Commitment to student success and educational excellence • Ability to engage creatively and flexibly in teaching • Participate actively in professional development • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds as needed
