Insurance Receptionist Gander, Southeastern Avalon Peninsula (Ferryland)

Steers Insurance is currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team in Gander, NL. While this position is for a maternity leave replacement, there is potential for full-time employment at the end of the contract term. The successful candidate for this role must be interested in education and learning the workings of the insurance industry.Qualifications/Skills: Customer service is second nature for you. You’re organized and prioritized. You’re always up for learning new things. You enjoy communicating with others and have no trouble initiating conversations. You understand the importance of professionalism and how to maintain the highest level at all times.The insurance industry is a fast-paced environment, more so at a company like Steers, which is locally owned and operated with an excellent client service reputation. Clients and potential clients need to know their broker is right here, where they can get face-to-face service from community members just like them.Preference will be given to candidates currently licensed under the Provincial Insurance Agents&Brokers Act or currently enrolled in a licensing program; however, this is not a requirement of application.
