Position Summary Oram Homes is seeking a dedicated and organized Resident Care & Staffing Coordinator to support the daily operations of our personal care home. This position plays a key role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage, coordinating schedules, supporting resident and family relations, and assisting with the smooth day-to-day functioning of the home. The successful candidate will work closely with the Home Manager, residents, families, and staff to help maintain exceptional standards of care, service, and operational excellence. Key ResponsibilitiesStaffing & Scheduling - Prepare and maintain staff schedules. - Coordinate call-ins and secure shift replacements as required. - Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate resident coverage. - Assist with staff orientation and onboarding processes. - Communicate scheduling updates and operational information to staff. Resident & Family Relations - Assist residents and families with questions, concerns, and requests. - Support resident admissions and transitions. - Help ensure residents receive high-quality care and services. - Promote a positive and respectful living environment. Operations Support - Coordinate ordering of supplies, groceries, and operational materials. - Assist with inventory monitoring and supply management. - Support daily administrative and operational functions of the home. - Maintain accurate records and documentation. - Assist with policy implementation and quality improvement initiatives. Team Support - Foster positive working relationships among staff. - Support employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives. - Assist management with operational projects and special assignments. - Promote compliance with company policies and personal care home standards. QualificationsRequired - Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. - Must be a resident of Canada. - Must reside within the local area or be willing to relocate prior to commencing employment. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency with computers, email, and scheduling software. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Assets - Experience working in a personal care home, long-term care facility, retirement residence, or healthcare environment. - Experience with staff scheduling and workforce coordination. - Experience in personal care home management is considered a strong asset. - Must have Post-secondary education in healthcare, business administration, social work, human resources, or a related field.
