Greet and welcome all visitors to the Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Centre and provide information pertaining to amenities in the area. To obtain a positive understanding of the history of Grand Falls-Windsor and impart that knowledge to any visitors while providing interpretive tours and responding to other requests for information via social media and telephone contact. To have a basic understanding of the collection of materials housed at the Centre and to provide assistance and information to visitor inquiries. To learn to use museum database software, Past Perfect, and to be able to respond to requests for historical photos and other materials using this software application. To assist with cataloging, inputting data, organizing and maintaining displays and information, and performing preventative conservation as required at the Heritage Centre. To assist with property maintenance as required. Skills Excellent communication skills customer service organizational abilities Ability to work both independently and as a team Must be entering or returning to post-secondary training in the upcoming academic year Position is dependent on funding approval from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador's Provincial Summer Employment Program for Students.
