Student Assistants Student Assistants work with and provide support to students with severe cognitive, physical and/or behavioral needs. The role of a student assistant is student specific and will vary from school to school.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, or equivalent

Training in the area of Early Childhood Education, Child Youth Care Worker, Special Education or other related fields

Experience working with children either in a work or volunteer capacity

Training in Standard First Aid, Non-Crisis Intervention and/or Behavioral Management would be considered an asset.

This is a NAPE unionized position

Salary: CG 26 ($25.03 - $27.70 per hour)
