Duties to commence December 8, 2025 to June 26, 2026. As Student Services Department Head, you are part of the school's leadership team and will be committed to furthering NLSchools goals for student success in an inclusive, protected and caring environment. You will be able to demonstrate a students first philosophy in previous experiences as a teacher. Reporting to the school principal or designate, you will provide direction and support to teachers, teaching and learning assistants, and student assistants in the area of student services and special education. As a part of the school leadership team you will assist in the development of annual staffing plans for schools, ensuring schools are programmed and scheduled appropriately to meet the needs of all students and facilitating school based collaboration related to service delivery. As the successful candidate, you will provide advice to school administrators and collaborate with staff in initiatives that foster student success. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating professional development for program initiatives while identifying and building on the strengths within their department.
