Position Title 1.0 French with other teaching duties Location Queen Elizabeth Regional High · P.O. Box 16007 · 360 Foxtrap Access Road · Conception Bay South · A1X 2E2 Job Summary Full Time TERM position for Core French with other teaching duties at Queen Elizabeth Regional High, Foxtrap. Duties to commence September 2, 2025 to June 26, 2026. As a French second language teacher you will have a critical role in ensuring student achievement as specified in the curriculum guides of French programs. You are committed to furthering the goals for student success in an inclusive, safe and caring bilingual environment. Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge, experience and commitment to ensure culturally relevant instruction and assessment for all students. The ability to balance language instruction with content delivery. Demonstrated ability of an accurate and fluent linguistic model to ensure a language rich learning setting. Ability to ensure and facilitate authentic interactive strategies for the progressive development of French second language learning. Knowledge and experience in appropriate second language literacy development through a variety of differentiated strategies and resources. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Education - Secondary with French Major Minimum of B2 DELF Assessment (70% overall average with no less than 60% minimum in all 4 components) French First Language applicants may be considered Benefits Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.
