CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST Convoy is North America’s trusted distributor of top‑tier construction materials with over 40 locations across the US and Canada. We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our Coquitlam distribution center at 100 Golden Drive. Position Summary This role is critical to ensuring that customers receive the right products on time and safely. You will handle customer transactions, coordinate deliveries, educate customers on product applications, manage purchase orders, process payments, and assist with inventory tasks. The position welcomes individuals who are self‑sufficient, motivated, and eager to contribute to a quick‑growing business. Responsibilities Process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, and returns Coordinate delivery and/or pick up of customer orders with the operations team Educate customers on different products and their applications Generate, place, and confirm purchase orders with suppliers Receive payment for merchandise or services sold and log sales into the computer; responsible for payments received and adhering to all administrative and accounting related procedures Participate in the physical inventory of warehouse materials Requirements Experience assisting customers with product procurement – preferably in the building supply and/or construction industry Problem‑solving skills with a natural ability to respond quickly and accurately to inquiries, handle a rapid‑paced environment, and keep a sense of humor Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) Excellent decision making and ability to take initiative Well organized, strong attention to detail Must be a respectful team player Advantages Growth Opportunities: We believe in developing our people and offering them the chance to advance.
